🌾 Fresh loaves every weekendEvery loaf rises slowly on a living sourdough starter — no commercial yeast, ever.

Flour, water, salt, and time. That’s the whole list — nothing you can’t pronounce.
Our Story
Hi, I’m Alanna — the baker behind The Harvest. What began as a single jar of sourdough starter on our kitchen counter has grown into flour-dusted weekends, warm ovens, and bread I can’t wait to share.
Everything here is made by hand and given the time it needs — usually a day or two from mix to bake. I love that no two loaves are exactly alike, and that a simple slice, warm with butter, can make someone’s whole day a little better.
Thank you for supporting a small, home-grown bakery. It means the world to our family.
— Alanna

Good To Know
Every loaf rises slowly on a living sourdough starter, with no commercial yeast — ever. That long, slow ferment is the difference between real sourdough and the supermarket loaves that borrow the name. Flour, water, salt and time is the whole ingredient list.
Two ways. You'll find us at the local farmers market on weekends, and we also do pickup by order during the week in Canton, GA. Order through the form below and we'll reply to confirm a time that works.
We're a home bakery based in Canton, Georgia, and we regularly bake for neighbors in Woodstock, Holly Springs, Ball Ground, Kennesaw, Cartersville, Jasper, Dawsonville, Alpharetta, Dallas and Hiram. If you're nearby and not on that list, just ask.
No — everything is baked fresh and collected in person, either at the market or by arranged pickup. Fresh bread is at its best the day it comes out of the oven, and shipping simply doesn't do it justice.
Yes, please do. Add it to the notes when you place your order and we'll reply to let you know if we can fit it into that week's bake. Custom shapes and hand-scored designs for birthdays and holidays are welcome too.
The earlier the better — each loaf takes a day or two from mix to bake, and weekend batches are small and often spoken for. If you're after something for a particular weekend, ordering earlier in the week is safest.
